  • Bloomsbury USA's decision to feature a white girl on the cover of Jaclyn Dolamore's debut novel Magic Under Glass, which stars a dark-skinned heroine, has sparked controversy across the internet. Just five months after the same publisher was forced to back down over a similar issue. Check out the controversy.

    -Fun stuff! I just loaded up my Amazon shopping cart with a ridiculous amount of preorders!

    -Yes! I'm getting an iPad! It'll make the perfect travel companion. I can't wait!

    -Have you read the Percy Jackson and the Olympian series by Rick Riordan? They're great! And the first movie comes out next week (The Lightning Thief). Rick Riordan's first new book to a new series (The Kane Chronicles) is coming out soon too and it looks really good. :)
