Monthly Review-May

This month was full of reading for me. I found some really great books and just couldn't stop reading. I love that! Many I brought to bed with me to get started on, but then I read them in one sitting! Read a book before bed? I love it! Wish I could do it every night!

The weather here in Scotland has been rubbish. I'm still wearing a fleece pretty much where ever I go. I don't believe summer exists in Scotland.

My husband and I went to Portugal a few weeks ago to enjoy time with the in laws. Had a wonderful time! I downloaded a few e-books on my net-book for the trip and enjoyed my first E-Books! I packed tons of books for minimal space. I think I need a Kindle now.

  1. Nights are still cold here in California! Summer is making a late appearance just like Winter did last year.

Sounds like you had a great book month! :)

  2. The holiday looks great. I'm still not convinced about ebooks though. It's just not the same. x

  3. Hehe, I love that you said you don't think summer exists in Scotland. I feel your pain. Here in Wales, our weather's just as rubbish. :S

I went to Scotland (Edinburgh and Loch Ness (Drumnadrochit)) about a month ago and really loved it. The weather in the Highlands, though, was unbelievably temperamental! I went for a walk one evening and noticed it was getting windy so decided to turn back. On my way home, it started snowing really heavily. I ducked into a little shop to buy some hot chocolate to take back with me and by the time I came out (5 minutes later), the sun was out and there was no trace of snow! Crazy!
