I just got Lord of the Flies by William Golding and am in serious amazement at what a gorgeous book it is. This is how books used to be published. No flimsy dust jacket or thin pages. A gorgeous hardback with a proper case to keep it safe. I've not read Lord of the Flies since high school and I can't wait to tuck into this old classic and enjoy not only the writing but that I'm reading from such a wonderful keepsake that I hope I can pass on to my children one day.

  1. I cry. I'm so glad you got to participate in this!!! I was stoked that they contacted me. And then they broke my heart when they found out I wasn't in the UK. :(
