"No one tried to get involved with me, and I kept to myself. This was the place where everything was supposed to be safe and easy. How could Evan Mathews unravel my constant universe in just one day?"

He knows there’s something more to the girl sitting in the back of the class the moment he sees her. She’s beautiful, intelligent, and athletic – but she slips quietly through the crowded halls, trying not to exist. Determined to get to know the elusive girl, Evan soon discovers…

Emma Thomas is hiding a terrible secret.

Review::
Emma has a secret. Her life at home in anything but good. She tries to stay in the background so she doesn't get noticed. Until Evan notices her. I really loved this story you guys. There was so much to it and I was completely invested.

The romantic tension in this book in unreal. I was practically willing Emma and Evan together. It is slow going, but it was well worth it. There was a point I thought that it was too slow, but their story is one crazy web. I wanted Emma to give in a little bit with Evan but I understood why she didn't. I felt like when Emma was with Evan I could breathe {pun not intended}. He was safety. Comfort. Home base. I wanted more of Evan. Actually, I couldn't get enough. He's like my ultimate guy.

I don't want to give anything away {you know I hate spoilers!} but I'll just say that Reason to Breathe needs to be on your radar. If you are looking for something real then this is it. Start the year off right with Reason to Breathe!
