I just can't help but crush on some character's. I get to feeling like they are talking to me personally. It doesn't matter that they are fictional, for I don't think they are. They are living in my mind!
Here are my Top Ten Character Crushes {in no particular order}
01. Kerrick from Touch of Power by Maria Snyder. Oh my word. Just read the book. He's all man and he has this senistive side that makes me go gaga. He's funny too.
02. Tamani from Wings by Aprilynne Pike. I have the hots for a faerie. I do. He is the ultimate boy faerie. Loyal, loving and selfless.
03. Mr. Thornton from North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. If you have not read this book, you must. You just have too. He is so broody and proud. He's full of passion that he doesn't know what to do with. Mr. Darcy who?! Mr. Thornton is where it's at.
04. Will from Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. Will, my Will. I love you so. I want this to be a movie so bad and I can just imagine what he looks like in an old Victorian suit.
05. Jem from Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. Jem became a real contender for Tessa in this book and I really loved him. He is everything a young man should be.
06. Fred and George Weasley from Harry Potter by JK Rowling. I like funny guys.
07. Etienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Please, tell me one person who doesn't have a crush on him! Plus, I like that he is shorter than Anna. My husband is shorter than me.
08. Cricket from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins. I like guys who are different. Weird or dorky is my thing. Cricket is all of those things in a cool way. He speaks my language!
09. Mr. Nobley from Austenland by Shannon Hale. What a gentleman! I want him. As a pet.
10. Conrad from The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I love a boy who has trouble expressing himself. It is just more real don't you think?! Not to mention I would have had the biggest crush on him as a teenager. I would have gone crazy thinking about him.
